tis the season for commissions
This year became the year where I got back into commissioning artists and animators for whatever I could think of!
Most of this art has been for spicy pin-ups of my OCs or characters I like. I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to draw smut for every fictional gal I'm thinking of in the moment, so it started making sense in my head to re-route some of that money towards helping other like-minded and talented folks. It sure beats spending that money on subscriptions, fortnite v-bucks, more sexy anime figurines and Steam games I'm never gonna get around to playing because I'm too busy playing Balatro and revisiting Sam & Max: The Devil's Toybox.
While this has all been an excuse to get some really great art, I'm also building more experience managing artists and learning how to quickly communicate my ideas without having to draw the entire thing myself. I had heard that commissions could be a relatively affordable way to help gain some management and people skills, and I'm glad to be finally in a position once more where I can do that.
Anyway, here's a handful of some of my favorites comms for this year, along with their artists! All of these artists come highly recommended, especially if you're ever in the mood for some juicy pin-ups.

Bakertoons
Gonna kick this off with the one SFW piece I commissioned this year: a super cute illustration of Pepper for my twitch channel! I needed an offline image for my channel and my long-time friend Baker delivered something that ticked all of the boxes and is super cute.
Baker's always had a distinct art style that lends itself well to comics and animation. Be sure to check his stuff out!
JuicyArts
Juicy is both a fellow industry animator and another fellow connoisseur of cartoony pin-ups and saucy art. The two Briar illustrations have been my desktop backgrounds on my gaming setup for most of the year, both because they're super cute and also because Briar is the hottest gal I've ever seen in a Pokemon game for some reason. I should try to write a blog post dissecting why I think Briar is so hot. it might be possible!
Juicy is taking a break from commissions for a while, but you should give him a follow either on his main or on his NSFW blog if you're interested in keeping up with him and his work.
He's also just finished a wonderful pin-up of my Ms. Claus design!
Oh, and he's also made a couple lovely illustrations this year of Eglantine, another one of my OCs!
PulpDirector
Another lovely Eglantine, this time from PulpDirector! Pulp's art is also distinctly clean and cartoony, with perhaps more of a focus on straights/curves and strong shape language. The years of experience they have drawing porn really shows here, especially with the lovely detail on Eglantine's nipples, pussy and anus.
Been a pleasure commissioning them so far!
DemiChan
I don't commission Sonic art much as I've been burned out on the blue blur (and it's more difficult than I'd think to successfully commission any work featuring Sonic characters), but I've been having DemiChan quietly draw a bunch of Honey and Breezie art for me this year, and they've been knocking it out of the park. The builds, the curves, all of the curvaceous, squishy and juicy breasts and pussies... it's all so good.
Most people are married to being on-model with the Sonic cast as much as possible, so it's been a real joy finding someone who not only delivers great work, but is also willing to alter designs and search in service of smut.

Stew
The one piece I've commissioned from Stew this year was this one featuring Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire, but I'm working with him on another Carol piece that'll probably be ready for early next year.
There's a certain quality to Stew's work that just hits different for me and keeps me coming back. I'm gonna say it might have something to do with how he draws butts, because now that I think of it, almost everything I've commissioned from him focuses on butts.
...Yeah, that might be it. I like drawing butts, and I like drawn butts. 🍑
BorisGrim
BorisGrim does some lovely sketches on his regular streams! A great artist to reach out to if you're into hyper sizes, or pushing proportions a lot more while not losing a strong pose and gesture.

Jelly is a regular artist for my long-time friend RecD (musician and fellow Sonic Shorts creator), and Jelly's cartoony pinups also have a unique feel and appeal. The manic grin of this Showrunner drawing and the simply excellent proportions all pull me in.
Jelly's been going through a rough patch with income and has been trying to find enough work to stay afloat, and it hurts to see amazing talent struggling to get by. If you're able to help, consider reaching out for a comm whenever they're able to open!
