that first post smell
A new blog means... yup, you guessed it: a new blog smell!
This blog was set up as a result of cohost's upcoming closure. I ran a private blog on there which was home to a lot of rambling, but also home to creative writing, thoughts and a little bit of growth. I think it would do me good to continue keeping that flame lit, so I'm moving operations over here and opening it up for public viewing.
There's a couple trade-offs with this arrangement: I can't micro-manage my posts as much due to the nature of how a blog works, there's no invite-only system that I'm aware of, and there's no notifications, likes or comments (that I'm aware of at least, still learning how bear blog works).
Still, I like the thought of this blog. It's simple, it seems stress-free, and I could use some of that.
I might move some of the posts from my cohost blog over here to help fill things out, but for now I'm just kicking the tires and seeing how this thing runs.
