surprise web dev ramble
Surprise! It's been over a year since I last updated this blog! Time flies when you're having... fun?
I think I was originally going to go with a Stacey Pilgrim theme for this blog, but I've changed my mind: I'm instead going with ghost girls for now. they're very scary, they'll slap your belly when you least expect it, they get stuck in walls, and their butts are huge! What's not to love?
(also I've been outfitting my Steam Deck this past year with a Lah theme, and I'm just gonna roll with it here too cuz I'm posting this from my Steam Deck. :3 )
Web Dev Shenanigans~
I've been continuing to poke at web dev projects this year. I don't know how I've been managing to do that between the many, many other things I have going on, but I somehow have?! Here's the scoop on what I've been up to:

I've updated the landing page with a new setup. Just a placeholder for now, and a less ugly one at that. xP
I've got more planned for this site. My dream is for this site to be something between a studio page, and a less curated portfolio of my work. Instead of containing only the best of the best and being focused on professional inquiries, I'd love to make this a full archive of as much of my personal work as possible. This would include animation as well, especially my more popular earlier videos that used audio from things they didn't have permission to use lol

I'm currently a little over halfway into rebuilding my portfolio from scratch for Neocities. I'd like to cancel my adobe animate sub soon, but this also means I'll need to move my portfolio off adobe portfolio. and of course they don't have an export option (that I know of) so I'm making a new page from scratch. Good news is that all features should carry over without much trouble, including hosting and playing video locally on neocities itself using videojs, aka the same player tumblr uses. Good enough for me! Beats uploading onto youtube/vimeo or something.

Garbunkle has been especially busy for me in recent months.
Speaking of video, I've been able to get timelapses working and hope to start uploading more soon! This is really handy since uploading videos featuring booba is getting more annoying by the day, so I'm happy to be cutting out the middlemen and getting back into self-hosting my videos.
I've also been making some classic banner ads for the Garbunkle Patreon, which is now active once again! Perhaps consider stopping by and following the page if you're down for some hand-made cartoon/anime pussy in the future...?
I'm also working on a public-facing OC page, to finally give everyone a one-stop-shop where they can fill their minds with knowledge of my OCs. Warning: this is knowledge that will be largely useless in the outside world, but if you're reading this blog then maybe you might be down for reading even more of my writing?
